Olivia Tipton
LICENSED MASTER LEVEL PSYCHOLOGIST
Olivia is a Licensed Master Level Psychologist in the State of Kansas and works independently at The Therapy Center's east side office. She focuses on psychological assessments for both children and adults. With 3 years of experience working in a children's mental health facility, Olivia has supported many children facing behavioral challenges. She particularly enjoys working with this group, along with neurodivergent clients who seek to better understand their unique brains.
Olivia earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Oklahoma before shifting her focus to psychology. She then earned a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Fort Hays State University. During her master's program, Olivia divided her practicum hours between a children's psychiatric hospital and a university clinic, where she conducted assessments for college students and community members. Following graduation, she spent a year providing therapy and assessments for children in acute and residential units at a children's psychiatric hospital in Hays, Kansas. Olivia recently relocated back to Wichita to be nearer to her family and to begin her private practice.
In her free time, Olivia enjoys spending time with her younger siblings, doing creative projects around the house, and playing cozy video games. She also picks up shifts as a PRN therapist at Camber Children's Mental Health in Wichita, where she helps with intakes and provides solution-focused therapy for children aged 5 to 17.
